Connecting the cover of reinforcement is not the most suitable method for connection, in many cases and situations, using mechanical rebar connections is more convenient from the design point of view and more desirable from the construction point of view<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rebar coupler systems, also known as mechanical connectors, are used as an alternative to lap joints in concrete. These connections transfer the load on the rebar directly from one rebar to another without relying on the concrete bond and concrete conditions around the rebar<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now that we are familiar with the philosophy of the coupler, we should know that there are cases in which two rebars of two different sizes meet at the same point and must be connected to each other to form a single rebar. In these cases, the coupler that is used to connect these two rebars is different from the normal rebar, in fact, this coupler has two different thread sizes on its sides and can provide the possibility of connecting two rebars with different diameters on both
